Gözde Efe from the Anadolu University Faculty of Communication Sciences produced the making-of of the project, which features the whole process of the project including workshops, performances and gatherings. At some points, the young film makers from the Biryasam Initiative supported Gözde as location manager. The movie is in Turkish with English subtitles. A french version of the movie is also available upon request. Enjoy it!
Gözde Efe was born in İzmir in 1988. She graduated from the School of Communication Sciences, Department of Cinema&TV from Anadolu University in 2011. She has started her master’s degree in film and worked as research assistant at the same school since 2012. She realized her first film in the Netherlands during her internship in Noorderlicht Film. She made her second film by attending an EU financed documentary project “North Aegean Narratives” both in Greece and Turkey by sharing experiences with fifteen other selected documentary makers from both countries. Efe realized her latest short documentary in Strasborug, France while attending a Nisi Masa European Network of Young Cinema organization “Generator 2013”. She was sponsored by Nisi Masa. Currently, she is writing her master’s thesis while her academic and artistic works on documentary film and photography are continuing.
